If your tourism-related business would like to be linked to the City Web site, www.EnjoyPT.com, the following guidelines will assist you. Please contact the City of Port Townsend Marketing Contractor to be linked. Do not contact the Web designer.

 

GUIDELINES

:

  1. Links/business must have Port Townsend business address (this is inside the City limits - and many outside the City limits - i.e. golf, winery, etc.).
  2. Links/business must be licensed by the City of Port Townsend or Jefferson County (or Washington State).
  3. Links must be related directly to the Visitor experience.
    • Examples of businesses that may not be listed: health, finance, business service, education and others.
    • Events and Calendar items will be kept to a minimum and decision of which events will be linked will be at the sole discretion of the City. There will be a secondary link from EnjoyPT.com to PTGuide.com for those seeking square dancing, bridge, garage sales, etc.
  4. Links must go straight to the appropriate page for Visitor's interest.
  5. This means we may not necessarily link to home page, but rather to page the subject matter is about. An example is Fort Worden: We link to "conference/meeting" page under "Gathering Experiences," not to Fort Worden home page. This also means if an accommodation has meetings or weddings, but does not have a page on their site specifically addressing meetings or weddings, they will not be linked under "Gathering Experiences".
  6. If any part of the link or the linked site is deemed inappropriate for Visitors of all ages, link will not be accepted.
  7. Businesses must be in good standing with business responsibilities such as current with business taxes and/or business requirements.
  8. Business does not need to be a member of the Port Townsend Chamber of Commerce to be linked on this site.
  9. Who will be linked to www.EnjoyPT.com will be the sole and final decision of the City of Port Townsend.
  10. Links may be pulled or broken without notice at the discretion of the City.
